New Entrants and Transfers

Annual enrolment days for New Entrants and Children transferring into older year groups for 2016 will take place on Tuesday 18th August 2015 from 10.15 am to 4.00 pm and Wednesday 19th August from 10.15 am to 3.00 pm. Please make an appointment time for your family to meet with the Principal and Parish priest by contacting the school on 434 8856. Please download and complete the St Joseph's Catholic Pre-Enrolment Form from the website and return it to the school asap.

Enrolment appointments are also available at any other time during the year.  Contact the office to arrange a time through the Principal.

For children to be enrolled at St Joseph's, a Preference Certificate needs to be completed by the Parish Priest.  A small number of Open places also exist for non-Catholic families to support the special Catholic character of the school.

St Joseph's is an integrated state school.  This means that the Diocese of Dunedin pay for major building works through the collection of Attendance Dues.  These dues are approximately $102.50 per child per term and are paid directly to the Diocese of Dunedin and are separate to any other school activity costs.
